ANNUAL. Cinnamon flavor and fragrance. Sweet, spicy cinnamon flavored Basil, native to Mexico. Its growth is similar to regular basil with distinctive purple/violet stems and flowers and 2 inch long green leaves. Sweet, very strong cinnamon scent is popular in herbal tea and potpourri. It is ideal for seasoning desserts or other sweet dishes and is used in sauces and salads. Add to cut flower bouquets for its wonderful aroma. Combine with Italian basil for a flavorful variation to your favorite recipes. They grow quickly and yield well. Height is 26-30 inches. Approximately 85 days to maturity. Grows best in full sun.
