ANNUAL. California wildflower and the official state flower of California. 6 to 12 inches tall. Silky 2-3 inch wide cups of golden-orange flowers above mounds of feathery grey-green foliage. Likes hot, dry areas and poor soils. Tolerates light frost and heat. Excellent for seeding large areas. Blooms spring into summer, especially in cool weather. Great fillers in flower beds and containers.
